Who are Users?

In the B2B Dashboard, Users can represent multiple types of persons who interact with both the dashboard and Thinkific itself. For example, a user can be:

• A student of Thinkific
• An admin of the B2B Dashboard
• A group analyst in Thinkific who can also access the dashboard to enroll, generate reports etc
• Be a combination of the above e.g. An admin of the B2B dashboard who is also a student in Thinkific

The unique identifier for users in the dashboard is their email, therefore you do not need multiple accounts if a user has multiple roles e.g. An administrator of the B2B dashboard who is also a student does not require different accounts for their administrative and student functionality.

A user can be part of multiple teams and on each team they can have a different role. For example, a user may be an adminstration for their own team, but only a student in another.

To control what access a user has and what they can and cannot do whilst access the dashboard, you can adjust their Role and Permissions.
